Happy Halloween!

If there are children in the room DO NOT continue!  Buck Head and Bubba Ghost hunt was a huge success this year!  The night hadn't even started when Head of Security Dom took a pic of Bubba on Stage at the Grand Theater and a Orb of sorts appears directly over Bubbas head!   We were also introduced to Emily (a child that spoke to us by way of audio recording)  Listen and see all of the spooky activity at B94.com.   Big thank you to Shamrock Limousine for transportation, Grand Central Pizza and The Grand Theater a great historical theater in Elizabeth PA that everyone should support!  Have a safe and Scary Halloween!  Monday morning LADY GAGA LIVE!

August Gone..September Here

I cannot believe that it is August 30th and we have ONE day left in this month. I believe FALL officially starts either the 20th or 21st of September. Where does the summer go? This week with Buckhead and Bubba in the morning we will be taking our final contestants for "Pittsburgh's Best Laugh" contest. We got some GREAT, obnoxious, funny, weird laughs last week. We will be awarding ONE winner a full year of tickets to the IMPROV at the Waterfront! Good luck! Listen as we make our decision. You could be our winner! Also, we have another Friday Morning Madhouse planned for Friday, September 4th that should be very very interesting. This one will DEFINITELY make you watch online at www.b94.com. Call in this week! I'm sure we will be talking about that great pre-season Steeler win over the weekend too! Go Steelers! We are officially 11 days away from the FIRST game on September 10th here in the 'Burgh!

Summer Is Winding Down..

It kinda makes me sad. The leaves in my neighborhood are starting to fall a bit faster. The weather is cooling off. All the kids are going back to school (some this week!) and fall is closing in upon us. If you love the fall season, then great! I'm a summer lover. This week is all about laughing and then we close the week with a GREAT charity radio-thon. We are looking for that contagious laughter. Do you laugh funny? Obnoxiously? Buckhead and Bubba will be starting to take qualifiers August 24th. Listen. We will explain in detail on the air this week. Plus, we will have a chance for you to win a full YEAR of FREE Improv tickets to the Waterfront! Just because of a little thing called a LAUGH. I'm a bit worried. I have a feeling this week with all the laughter and Buck and Bubba adding to the FUNNY stuff we do, I may go into early labor. UGH!! Tune in. I hope not??!!! This Friday, August 28th we will not be doing a Friday Morning Madhouse. We will partnering with The Ronald McDonald House for a great cause. B94 will be doing our first all day LIVE radio-thon to benefit The Ronald McDonald House Charities. They provide a "home away home" for families of seriously ill children. Friday will be a good day. A day where Buck, Bubba and myself will walk out of work that day and KNOW we did a great cause for these families and children. Please listen this week and tune in Friday. We need your help. A New Week And A New You?

Buckhead and Bubba and I are back together this week. We had some vacation time (hey..we all need a little R&R right?) and Buckhead got married and honeymooned~! So, now we kick of "Go Back To School In Style" week on B94. We will give you a 500 dollar Mall At Robinson gift card. But, we need YOUR stories!! High School-ers do you need some new fashion, style and clothe? Call us each weekday morning when you hear us chat about it and maybe you will get qualified that day. We will pick a winner August 14th on the show. Maybe you are not a high school student reading this. Well, that is okay! You can call in and get qualified and nominate them to win! Pens Victory to the MAX!

     If its one thing Pittsburgh knows its how to embrace a team.  After a Hockey season with ups, downs and changes the Pens captain Sidney Crosby held that Stanley Cup high over his head Friday night.  I wasn't in Detroit but I imagine even through the distasteful and ignorant boos from the defeated Red Wing fans you could still hear the exuberant cries of victory from our Champion saturated city across Lake Erie.   (65% from the South Side)

     There is something exciting in the process of a challenge but to me its not nearly as fun as celebrating the win!  Pittsburgh has celebration running through its veins and it doesn't take long for us fans to show it.  My local diner (Kelly O’s) at 6am was already serving the Mad Max Burrito while people rushed into Dicks Sporting Goods for a hot –of -the press Stanley cup Champions t- shirt.

     Some may call the worlds greatest city Athletically Spoiled but I'm just fine with Champions.  See you at the Parade.
